Bikes, Bikes and More Bikes
Weekends always go by way too fast [sigh]….
Another Sport Bike Rally has come and gone in the blink of an eye. Luckily the weather cooperated with us for most of the weekend and bikers came from near and far. I had the pleasure of meeting a number of members from the V-Max association this weekend which was pretty cool….
You can see by the picture that each of them have tricked out their bikes quite a bit. One member even had a trailer hitch on his V-Max. Hard to believe, but true. I can honestly say that I have never seen this before. Along with having it on display our EF4500iSE generator proved to be a truly valuable asset this weekend. Not only did we use it to power our inflatable but when one consumer asked if he could charge his camera batteries we were thrilled to oblige. I definitely think that bringing a Yamaha generator to every event is a must. You never know when you’re going to need some extra power.
There were quite a few interesting attractions at the Sport Bike Rally but the one that stood out to me was the vendor who was selling tires. He had the ability to take off the old tire on-site and install the new one. The cool part was that he had a couple of patio stones set-up right beside his booth for people to burn-out their old tires on. A couple of seconds of smoke followed by a big bang finished up the tire nicely. This made the job of installing the new one that much easier. This was definitely a crowd pleaser.
