PugLife and Alien Arms test new YZ450F

Here we go again … more motocross. I’m sure lots of you may be getting sick and tired of reading about MX junk, but it’s what I know, what I like and our YZF’s are our coolest new products for 2010. It’s funny, because today John Bayliss cornered me and reminded me that “it’s not always MOTO-A-GO-GO around here!” I guess we have other product groups that we sell also, and it won’t be YZ year, every year. So I better live it up while I can!

This week’s MX blog is a video featuring Blackfoot’s 1-2 punch, Colton “Alien Arms” Facciotti and Dusty “PugLife” Klatt, testing out the all-new 2010 YZ450F for their very first time inside Olympic Stadium in Montreal, QC. They actually loved the bike so much, they were literally begging Blackfoot race team owner, Jason Mitchell, to race them the next night in the Montreal Supercross. It didn’t happen, but how cool would it have been if they did race the 2010’s and then won a stock bike?!?

A big thanks goes out to our resident videographer, and movie maker, Aaron Dowden. He’s responsible for putting his head down and creating these cool little vids for all the world to see. Keep up the good work, Dowdy!

Enjoy the video!

That title is very deceiving. I was hoping to see pugs, as is the little flat-faced dogs…

Sorry to disappoint, Amy. No pug pictures. However, I could contact Dusty and get some pics of his pug for all of us to see. What do you think??

    Dusty has a pug!
    I wanna see!!!!

  3. KT$ says:

I am not worried about Dusty’s pugs but this bike is as sick as advertised!!

KT, I bet you would be worried if those little pugs were hungry and needed food. You’d probably be so kind as to cook them up some of your fresh, homemade hot dogs and then cut them into little slivers to fit into their tiny pug mouths. In all seriousness, glad you liked the bike! Could we see a return of the “Original” Eastern Ontario fast guy to the nationals??

What did Dusty think of the pug-tail exhaust on those bikes?

He didn’t mind it. Although, the pugs get a little frightened when the bikes first start up. So Dusty has to wrap teeny, tiny earmuffs around their heads to protect their cute little pug ears. Okay, I think we’re getting off topic a little here … lol
